Anyone who has visited the Burger King restaurant at 619 Dick Road in
Depew, has undoubtedly seen CEIL STEVENS. Eighteen years ago, Ceil took employment at this
location to earn money for Christmas. Today, she is still saving for that Christmas fund.
Ceil doesn’t stand still for a moment. She works all areas of the
store and has rarely missed a day of work. She refuses to take her vacation time, except
when required, because she prefers the hustle and bustle of her 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. job.
When asked how long she intends to continue working, Ceil commented with a smile, “I
just bought another new car, so it will be at least another four years.”
Knowing Ceil Stevens, it is sure to be longer than that!
Ceil and her husband, Donald, have four children (Susan, David, Mark and
Janet) and eight grandchildren.
